UOIT reaches tentative collective agreement with sessional lecturers

The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) is pleased to announce it has reached a tentative collective agreement with the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), which represents approximately 180 sessional lecturers at the university.

Details of the agreement are confidential pending ratification by both PSAC and the university.

This is the first collective agreement between the parties. PSAC was certified by the Ontario Labour Relations board in April 2011 as the union representing UOIT’s sessional lecturers.
