In honour of his passion for cars and to recognize the generosity of the Williamson family, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology has proudly revealed the Alex Williamson Laboratory located in the Automotive Centre of Excellence’s (ACE) integrated research and training facility.

The robotics and automation laboratory was named after the Uxbridge man who brought his automotive business to the town in the late 1940s. His family proudly continues the business as Alex Williamson Motor Sales Limited and frequently contributes to the Uxbridge community.
