UOIT unveils modern new booth at Ontario Universities’ Fair
September 25, 2014
Tens of thousands of prospective university students were the first to see the University of Ontario Institute of Technology’s (UOIT) new image September 19 to 21 at the annual Ontario Universities’ Fair (OUF).
UOIT’s modernized booth at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre featured a colourful new design replicating the look and feel of the university’s contemporary architecture.
An interactive media wall provided OUF attendees with comprehensive information about the university. The interior section, dubbed Pathway to Success, was designed to attract visitors and draw them into an area placing them ‘on-campus’.
The UOIT Registrar’s office was joined at OUF by dozens of faculty and staff members to answer questions from prospective students and parents, and to also provide additional materials about programs, admission requirements and student life.

UOIT’s booth imagery focused on showing hands-on learning opportunities with advanced technologies and strong faculty-student interaction – attributes which make UOIT unique.
The OUF began in 1997 as a way to help secondary school students gather information about Ontario’s 21 universities. The OUF draws more than 120,000 students, parents and educators over the three-day event.
