Ontario Tech University and Penn State University sign agreement to enhance engineering studies and research

Ontario Tech University’s Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science (FEAS) and The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State University) College of Engineering have signed a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that taps into the engineering and applied sciences strengths of both institutions. The MOU was initiated by Dr. Akhlesh Lakhtakia, Professor, Penn State University, and Dr. Moustafa El-Gindy, Professor, FEAS, Ontario Tech University.

The five-year agreement will enhance Ontario Tech’s and Penn State’s research, innovation and educational excellence a variety of collaborative endeavours, including:

  • Professional training programs
  • Faculty and scholar exchanges
  • Joint research projects and educational programs
  • Exchange of scientific materials, publications, and information
  • Joint seminars and other academic events
