Ontario Tech University continues its rapid ascent as one of the world’s fastest-rising young universities, earning major international recognition for its research excellence and growing global impact. Strong outcomes in the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects further reinforce the university’s momentum in fields shaping the future economy and society:

Ontario Tech also achieved strong standing in this year’s Times Higher Education World University Rankings, placing 801-1000 worldwide and earned a standout position of No. 144 among the world’s top young universities, placing No. 2 in Canada in 2024. These results highlight the university’s growing international reputation in teaching quality, research impact, industry collaboration, and its distinct approach to applying technology responsibly for societal good.
