Canadian Journalist and Military Analyst Gwynne Dyer to deliver a lecture on his controversial new book With Every Mistake, at UOIT

OSHAWA, Ont. - Renowned Canadian Journalist, Military Analyst and Syndicated Columnist Gwynne Dyer will deliver a riveting lecture based on his controversial new book on journalism entitled: With Every Mistake, at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and Durham College.

Join students, faculty, members of the Boards of Governors and local dignitaries on Tuesday, November 1 for his lecture entitled: Back to the Great Game, which will also draw on his recent best-selling books Ignorant Armies (March 2003) and Future: Tense (October 2004).

Best known for his academy award-nominated documentary television series War, which was broadcast in over 45 countries, Dyer has worked as a freelance journalist, broadcaster and lecturer for over 30 years. His syndicated columns on international affairs have appeared in a dozen languages in nearly 200 newspapers published in more than 40 countries around the world. Dyer received his PhD in Military and Middle Eastern History from the University of London. In addition to serving in the Canadian, American and British navies, he taught military history and war studies for six years.
