UOIT to host 2006 Spring Convocation ceremony for Faculty of Education

OSHAWA, Ont. - On Friday, June 2, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology will host its third Spring Convocation ceremony for the Faculty of Education. Ninety graduates will proudly accept their Bachelor of Education degrees surrounded by family and friends at an outdoor ceremony.

This year, the Convocation address will be given by Dr. Avis Glaze, chief student achievement officer and CEO, Ontario Literacy and Numeracy Secretariat, Ontario Ministry of Education, and the recipient of numerous distinctions for her contributions to education.

Enter off of Simcoe Street and proceed to the Commencement parking lot.
