Frank McKenna to deliver speech at UOIT

OSHAWA, Ont. - Frank McKenna, the deputy chair of TD Bank Financial Group (TDBFG), will address students and guests at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology's (UOIT) Oshawa campus on Tuesday, April 10.

McKenna, whose distinguished career includes time as Canada's Ambassador to the U.S. and as premier of New Brunswick, will discuss the relationship between education and a prosperous society. In addition, he will announce a significant donation from TDBFG.

More and more leading businesses and industries are partnering with UOIT to provide increased opportunities for students. UOIT is developing new and innovative undergraduate and graduate programs each year, many of them unique to Ontario and Canada, to meet the demands of today's knowledge-driven economy.
