HSBC Bank Canada to announce significant donation to UOIT

OSHAWA, Ont. - Officials from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) will welcome representatives from HSBC Bank Canada next week for the announcement of a significant financial donation that will greatly assist and enhance students' learning experiences for years to come.

The announcement will include specific details of the donation, including the exact amount, and UOIT's plans for a permanent commemoration and recognition of the gift. Student recipients will also be on hand for the event.

UOIT continues to attract the interest and support of leading corporations such as HSBC Bank Canada, whose efforts make a direct impact on students and the community. HSBC Bank Canada is a committed supporter of post-secondary students, providing financial assistance and awards as well as making ongoing investments in communities across the country.
