UOIT to announce new chancellor

Former cabinet minister and business leader to become university's second chancellor

OSHAWA, Ont. - Members of the media are invited to join officials from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) next week for the announcement of the university's new chancellor, an accomplished businessman and distinguished former federal cabinet minister.

Because of its national reputation for being an academically challenging university that is graduating our country's next-generation professionals, UOIT is increasingly attracting outstanding leaders from around the world. These men and women bring extensive experience to campus, broadening students' knowledge in their chosen fields.
