UOIT to officially open state-of-the-art facility

Faculty of Education moves to downtown Oshawa location

OSHAWA, ON. - Marking five years of growth and innovation, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) is officially opening the doors to the new home of its Faculty of Education, located in the heart of downtown Oshawa.

University officials will welcome City of Oshawa representatives and other guests to the grand opening, which will include speeches, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the state-of-the-art facility.

The new location will offer students another leading-edge environment in which to excel and will help prepare them to make an impact on society as next-generation educators.
