From the Grand Canyon to UOIT's grand campus

UOIT and Ontario Power Generation partner together to restore former electric hiker shuttles and help drive innovative research in alternative fuels

OSHAWA, ON. - Journey into the future of transit with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and Ontario Power Generation (OPG) as they demonstrate the evolution of mass transportation.

Members of the media are invited to join university and OPG officials for a ride in one of the university's electric buses, a discussion about what this partnership means for the community and how UOIT's innovative research is poised to change the future of transit.
