UOIT receives accessibility award from City of Oshawa

The City of Oshawa's Accessibility Advisory Committee (OAAC) presented special award to the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) on May 10 at a special meeting of city council. The Accessibility Improvement Award recognizes local businesses whose contributions have resulted in greater opportunities for people who live, work and play in Oshawa.

The award, presented by Oshawa Mayor John Henry was accepted on behalf of UOIT by Matt Milovick, vice-president, Operations and Strategic Development and interim chief financial officer along with Ken Bright, director, Campus Infrastructure and Sustainability.
