UOIT students awarded $185,500 from NSERC

Three graduate students at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) are set to receive welcome support to further their research in the areas of science and engineering, thanks to a series of new Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Graduate Scholarships. The scholarships have a combined value of $185,500.

UOIT president contributing author to national science report

UOIT president and vice-chancellor Tim McTiernan is one of 16 Canadian and international experts from diverse fields assembled to author a key new report on science performance and research funding for the Council of Canadian Academies.

Students of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to BScN programs were recently joined by family members and faculty and staff from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and Durham College for the inaugural Graduation Tea and Pinning Ceremony held on campus.
