Students, faculty, family and friends filled the halls at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) on Friday, April 11 to show their support for fourth-year Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science (FEAS) students who had their final projects on display during the 2014 Capstone Design Competition.

"All the projects are just superb," said Dr. Tarlochan Sidhu, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. "The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science has a reputation for engineering excellence, and today’s competition continues to prove that our reputation is well earned. All the hard work and dedication our students have put towards their final projects is evident in each project I look at, and every student here should be very proud of the work they have done."

Two competitions took place: one for the Department of Automotive, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (AMME), and the other for the Department of Electrical, Computer and Software Engineering (ECSE).
