Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science recognized for excellence
International survey reinforces strong domestic and international rankings

The University of Ontario Institute of Technology’s Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science (FEAS) continues to gain more notice in a new comprehensive international ranking of engineering programs.
In the 2018 edition of the U.S. News and World Report survey of the Best Global Universities, FEAS again ranks in the top third of Canadian university engineering programs. The University of Ontario Institute of Technology also ranks in the top third of all engineering programs in Ontario, as well as globally.
University of Ontario Institute of Technology rankings:
- Ontario: No. 3 out of 11
- Canada: No. 8 out of 29
- World: No. 200 out of 600
- University’s rankings by specific engineering subject or research parameter
The survey evaluates how engineering programs around the world produce research related to a variety of topics, such as mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.
