University mourns passing of William Lishman, 2008 honorary degree recipient

The University of Ontario Institute of Technology community expresses its condolences to the family of William Lishman who passed away on December 30 at the age of 78. The university presented Mr. Lishman with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree at its 2008 Convocation ceremonies.
The university recognized Mr. Lishman for his extraordinary passion, creativity, and dedication to forging new paths, for his exceptional achievements, and for his devotion to the preservation of species at risk.
