Enrolment up 13 per cent at UOIT

Enrolment at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) has reached another highpoint with Day 10 enrolment numbers topping 8,423 undergraduate and graduate students attending the university.

Ontario Tech University presents Awards of Excellence

Ontario Tech University is celebrating the beginning of a new academic year by recognizing outstanding achievements by faculty and staff over the past 12 months. The 2011 Awards of Excellence were presented on September 13 at the annual President’s Welcome Back Reception hosted by Dr. Tim McTiernan.

Durham College support staff reach tentative agreement

We are pleased to advise that a tentative agreement has been reached between the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU), which represents support staff employees at colleges across the province, and the College Employer Council (the Council).

UOIT alumnus receives prestigious Vanier Canada Graduate scholarship

The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) is proud to announce that 2009 Bachelor of Science graduate Iain Moyles has been awarded the Vanier Canada Graduate scholarship (CGS) in support of his current doctoral degree studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. The Vanier CGS is valued at $150,000 over three years.
