UOIT Provost named Memorial’s Vice-President, Research

Dr. Richard Marceau, Provost and Vice-President, Academic, University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), will join Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) as its new Vice-President, Research effective June 1, 2013.

UOIT students find puppy love

Students from UOIT and Durham College enjoyed a quick break from their studies on January 21 to spend some out-of-class time with a contingent of special canine guests.

UOIT Professor named Critical Criminologist of the Year

Dr. Molly Dragiewicz, Associate Professor, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), was recently named Critical Criminologist of the Year by the American Society of Criminology’s Division on Critical Criminology for her significant contributions to international research on violence and gender.
