Electronic delivery and interlibrary loans
September 22, 2014
The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) Campus Library’s Interlibrary Loan Department is now offering the electronic delivery (e-delivery) of articles and/or book chapters, when available. The e-delivery service was tested over the summer and received positive feedback.
What is an interlibrary loan?
If you are unable to find the material you need within the library catalogue, you can place an interlibrary loan (ILL) request using the Rapid Access to Collections by Electronic Requesting (RACER) system. The ILL team will try its best to find the material at another library and have it shipped to UOIT. This service is free of charge to all UOIT faculty, staff and students. To learn more about ILL or register for RACER, please visit the ILL web page.
