Major investments in energy, transportation, infrastructure and advanced manufacturing are transforming Ontario's workforce needs and creating new demands for engineering talent.

To ensure graduates are prepared for the opportunities and challenges ahead, Ontario Tech University's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science (FEAS) has established an advisory board, bringing together industry leaders to advise the faculty on emerging trends and developments in the engineering profession.

Engineering Advisory Board members will provide external perspectives to help the faculty align its teaching, research and talent-development efforts with changing industry needs and broader economic priorities. The board will help the faculty advance a future-ready vision for engineering at Ontario Tech, strengthening connections with the sectors its graduates, researchers and partners are helping to define.

The board reflects the faculty’s commitment to embedding industry perspectives as a way of informing its strategic direction and future planning, and deepening partnerships with industry and community leaders.
