New research and study-abroad opportunities are on the horizon for faculty and students at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. The university’s newest international agreement was signed in March with Nanjing Xiaozhuang University (NXZU), a comprehensive, undergraduate university in Jiangsu Province (Ontario’s sister province in China).
NXZU, which marks its 90th anniversary this year, has long-established expertise in the areas of Education, Science, Engineering, Culture, Finance, Economy, Law and Management.
The partnership with NXZU evolved from delegation exchanges between the both universities in December and March. The agreement will offer University of Ontario Institute of Technology students new chances for studying abroad in English. Researchers will also be in a position to explore new research collaborations with NXZU professors. The first visiting scholar from NXZU will come to Oshawa during the Fall 2017 semester.
