Ontario Tech acknowledges the lands and people of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation.

We are thankful to be welcome on these lands in friendship. The lands we are situated on are covered by the Williams Treaties and are the traditional territory of the Mississaugas, a branch of the greater Anishinaabeg Nation, including Algonquin, Ojibway, Odawa and Pottawatomi. These lands remain home to many Indigenous nations and peoples.

We acknowledge this land out of respect for the Indigenous nations who have cared for Turtle Island, also called North America, from before the arrival of settler peoples until this day. Most importantly, we acknowledge that the history of these lands has been tainted by poor treatment and a lack of friendship with the First Nations who call them home.

This history is something we are all affected by because we are all treaty people in Canada. We all have a shared history to reflect on, and each of us is affected by this history in different ways. Our past defines our present, but if we move forward as friends and allies, then it does not have to define our future.

How to order 2017-2018 textbooks online

The Campus Bookstore has launched an easy-to-use eCommerce system for downtown Oshawa location students to order all textbooks online.

Important: In-person textbook sales and orders are no longer available in the Social Science and Education Library (SSEL) at the 61 Charles Street Building. Beginning with the 2017-2018 academic year, the SSEL is only a pickup location for online textbook orders.

Textbooks can be ordered online by following the instructions below, or in-person at the Campus Bookstore, Gordon Willey Building, A-Wing, Room A125, at the university’s north Oshawa location.

How to place textbook orders:

  • Visit the Campus Bookstore online portal for university students (uoit.bookware3000.ca)
  • Select Get Your Booklist (on left of screen).
  • Sign in using your MyCampus login and password.
  • Select the appropriate term (semester) and select Go.
  • When you find your program or courses, select the Go to the Bookstore button (on right of screen). This will take you to your Booklist on the Campus Bookstore website.
  • Scroll through your Booklist and select the Buy New button for each selection. The price will appear beside each book you want to purchase.
  • Once you have selected all of your books, scroll to the top of the page and select Checkout in the Shopping Cart box at the top right of your Booklist.
  • If you have ordered online through the Campus Bookstore before, enter your account information to login.
  • Follow the steps to complete your order.

If this is your first online purchase through the Campus Bookstore:

  • Select Create a New Account and follow the registration steps.

Delivery information

  • Items are ready for pickup two to four business days after order date.

  • Social Science and Education Library, 61 Charles Street Building

Note: The Campus Bookstore is located at the university’s north Oshawa location (Gordon Willey Building). The regular operational hours during the academic year are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. Until the Labour Day weekend, the store operates on summer hours, closing each day at 4 p.m.
