Ontario Tech University recently hosted the annual provincewide First Year Integration Conference (FYIC), demonstrating the university’s ongoing commitment to innovation, collaboration and the future of engineering.

56 representatives from four universities, including two faculty members and six graduate students from Ontario Tech, participated in the International University Exchange Symposium in Chemistry and the 6th Kyutech-Ontario Tech University Chemistry Symposium (November 9, 10 and 13, 2023) at the Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech) in Japan.

Led by Ontario Tech University Faculty of Health Sciences researcher Dr. Shilpa Dogra, a team from the City of Oshawa and Durham Region recently travelled to Denmark for an international immersive five-day workshop, hosted by the Toronto-based organization 8 80 Cities. 8 80 Cities seeks to create healthier, equitable, and sustainable cities for all people.

New national research study to address gender equity in Canadian policing

Entitled "Canadian Women in Policing: A National Exploration of Women Officers' Experiences", the study will be led by the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) in partnership with Ontario Tech University and is endorsed by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police.

Sustainable transportation solutions leader Alstom signs major agreement with Ontario’s Earth District consortium
