Ontario Tech breaks enrolment record once again as demand for future-ready programs grows

As of June 5, more than 2,200 Ontario high school applicants have already confirmed their offers to attend Ontario Tech for the 2025-2026 academic year, a 9.3 per cent increase over last year, surpassing the provincial average of 6.4 per cent. This marks the third consecutive year with more than 2,000 domestic confirmations, representing an impressive 57.4 per cent increase since 2020.

Ontario Tech launches Black Youth Visionary Program with $500,000 investment from Scotiabank

Ontario Tech University is proud to announce a $500,000 investment from Scotiabank through ScotiaRISE, the Bank’s $500 million commitment and community investment initiative. This contribution supports the university’s Tech with a Conscience fundraising campaign, which emphasizes ethical leadership and the human impact of technological research and innovation.

With its step-by-step interactive format, Sodium 101 uses proven techniques known to motivate people to change their behaviour and develop food-literacy skills.

Ontario Tech researcher’s new online tool helps Canadians reduce their salt consumption

With a generous donation from Manulife to Ontario Tech’s Tech with a Conscience fundraising campaign, Dr. JoAnne Arcand and a team of dietitians and graduate students designed and launched the Sodium 101 web application, which seeks to raise awareness about the long-term risks of excessive sodium consumption, and empower Canadians to make healthier dietary choices.
