Donate your used textbooks to help students in Africa

The Campus Libraries recently partnered with Textbooks for Change, a social enterprise that collects used textbooks to donate to post-secondary institutions located in sub-Saharan Africa. Founded in 2014, Textbooks for Change aims to provide quality educational tools to all parts of the globe regardless of socioeconomic status or geographic location.

A large donation bin has been placed in the lobby at the North Oshawa Library, beside the front entrance. There is also a donation box at the Social Science Library. Any post-secondary textbooks published within the past 15 years old will be accepted.
